Reinforcement Learning for Energy Management in Buildings and Cities (RLEM22)

And that’s a wrap for #RLEM22 #BuildSys22 ! We had a great workshop with around 40 participants from all over the world on the challenges and opportunities of building controls.

If you missed it, here is the raw uncut version (~4 hours):

We had inspiring conversations with Troy Harvey and Gregor Henze on where the bottlenecks are for advanced building automation are, complimented by visionary outlooks on what the future holds, and how we could get there.

The technical presentations pushed the limits from occupant comfort datasets, battery control, online data augmentation, building benchmark datasets, to controlling multiple buildings.

A big THANK YOU to the organizing team Kuldeep Kurte (he/his/him) Matias Quintana Ján Drgoňa Yaxin Bi Kingsley Nweye and the speakers Sharath Kumar, Shotaro Nonaka, and Hsin-Yu Liu.

See you at RLEM23 :)
